Not super retro, my first fermentor in 1976 was a garbage bin, which roughly desribed the beer, fast foward nearly 20 yearsand a failed group brew in between and something very much like was my first fermentor, but it was $55 from memory

A pail, a lid, a tap and an airlock, simpler days.

This is a geat idea if you bottle or need an expendable keg for that sour beer
